Manchester United, one of the English Premier League teams, transferred Cameroonian net guard Andre Onana from Inter.
Manchester United found a name to protect their goal after David de Gea, who played for 12 seasons, left the club.
According to the statement made by the club, a 5+1 year contract was signed with 27-year-old Onana.
Information on the cost of the transfer was not given, but the British press suggested that Onana’s testimonial fee could reach 55 million euros with additional payments.
Onana, who won 3 league championships in Ajax and played in the final of the 2017 UEFA Europa League, had an important role in the victory of Inter in the summer of 2022, winning the Italian Cup and reaching the final of the UEFA Champions League.
