Noud Harskamp from Helmond has come up with something special. He plays film music on the piano. His videos are viewed millions of times on YouTube and his channel has 100,000 subscribers. The most viewed video is the music from horror movie Halloween. It already has more than 10 million views.

Jumping for NAC
The song ‘I jump for NAC’ by football supporter Evert van Huygevoort became very popular on YouTube in a short time. His music video from 2017 reached 1 million views in just a few days. A local football song in our province has not imitated that afterwards.

Party-folk band Acting the Maggot from Boxtel already had a great time with their cover of The Pretender by Foo Fighters, but after the American band picked up their version and shared it on Instagram Stories, things went wild. “This is really indescribable,” said singer and guitarist Maarten de Gans in 2019. “Such a huge world band. Maybe the biggest rock band in the world right now and then they share it. Really fantastic.”

Cilla Niekoop (36) from Eindhoven became known as a member of Ch!pz. She didn’t know what she was in for when their ‘1001 Arabian Nights’ went viral worldwide. Thanks to fans younger than the song itself. The first videos that the pop group posted on TikTok quickly gained millions of views. Cilla had expected that the old fans would like it, but she did not see these numbers coming.

Singing cop
The 23-year-old policewoman Marije (23) from Boekel went viral with her singing talents. Her colleagues posted a video in which Marije sings Miss Montreal’s ‘Door de wind’ as a nightingale on Instagram and TikTok. “I got so many responses. You get tired of responding to everything, but I really like it. But no, I didn’t choose the wrong profession.” In the end, Miss Montreal even said she really liked the cover.
