Bas Smit and Nicolette van Dam arouse more and more annoyance with the silence about the latest abuse by their good friend Lil Kleine. “We don’t hear about that here, which is very unfortunate.”
The two of them are so crazy on Instagram. Laugh, howl, howl. A crazy dance here, yet another holiday photo there. But where are Bas Smit and Nicolette van Dam actually when good friend Lil Kleine pulls his girlfriend Jaimie Vaes out of the car by her hair and then clamps her head between the door and the car door? nowhere.
Bass ❤️ Lil Kleine
Bas and Nicolette also looked away last year, after the notorious abuse of Jaimie in Ibiza. Not much later, Lil Kleine was on stage with his rap lyrics in their concert series De Amsterdamse Zomer. Behind the scenes of the concert in question, last September, bass and Nicolette were constantly hanging around Lil Kleine’s neck.
Lil Kleine put the photos of that hysterical celebrity behavior online, but Bas and Nicolette did not. Making money is nice, but showing pictures of their bonding with Lil Kleine might not be so useful for PR, they thought. Only when criticism came, Bas removed an Instagram video this week in which he is doing crazy with Lil Kleine.
‘Very sorry’
It seems that Bas and Nicolette want to keep their favorite rapper out of the wind, because even after the latest abuse of Jaimie Vaes they are silent as the grave. There was already criticism of RTL Boulevard and now they are also getting Shownieuws expert Bart Ettekoven.
Bart praises Tino Martin for his statement about Lil Kleine. “There are also a lot of people who are very quiet. I don’t immediately want to point fingers at Bas Smit or Nicolette van Dam, but those are people who have worked with him a lot and have spent a lot of time with him, also on social media. And I don’t hear about it. I do regret that.”
Bridget praises Tino
Bridget Maasland already called at the beginning of the week that people who have something to do with Lil Kleine (read: Bas and Nicolette) should speak out against the violent behavior of the rapper. Yesterday she spoke highly of Tino Martin. “I think it is quite right that someone should speak out now and then.”
As far as Kees van der Spek is concerned, the Bas and Nicolette-like people can go in the trash. “All those artists, everyone is just talking about it a little smugly. The moment you shout at The Voice in the workplace: ‘You are wearing horny pants’, then it is national news. And this is then a bit difficult about it: ‘Can we say something about that?’ How so?! It just goes beyond all limits.”
Sony
Meanwhile, Lil Kleine’s record label Sony is still silent as the grave. He apparently applies to go through life as a kind of harness label.
Luuk Ikink: “Sony really goes for the weirdest company of the past week. They still don’t respond. It seems to have become a kind of local record store. No idea why they aren’t responding. We called again five times today. Nothing at all.”
Bass to Lil Kleine?
Bas and Nicolette took the plane for the umpteenth time yesterday. Soon it was rumored that they were going to visit Lil Kleine – he seems to have flown to Marbella – but Bas denies this at the juice channel Reality FBI.
The celebrity couple has decided to take a break in Dubai. They were very busy last week with their new book Amsterdam Has Everything. Of everything indeed; also a whole battalion of Dutch celebrities looking away.
