A statement came from the TFF about the highly anticipated foreign rule: The 8+3 rule will continue in the 2023-2024 season of the Super League.

After the TFF’s announcement, the details about the foreign rule became clear.
According to the 2023-2024 Super League Competition Status:
– Contracts can be signed and registered with a maximum of 14 players who are not eligible to play in the Turkish National Team. If the right of 14 players is used, at least 1 of them must be born on 01.01.1999 and later.
– In addition to 14 foreign players, at most 1 football player who is a citizen of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, and at most 1 football player who does not have the eligibility to play in the Turkish National Football Team, can also sign and register a contract with a maximum of 1 football player who has Turkish citizenship or blue card. They can write to the A Team List.
– Up to 8 foreign players will be able to play on the field at the same time. In addition, at most 1 of the players who are citizens of the Turkic Republics or who have a blue card can take part in the match squad, and can be included in the squad that continues the match on the field.
