VfL Bochum made a fool of themselves in the second test

Bundesliga club VfL Bochum suffered a surprising defeat in the second pre-season test.

Coach Thomas Letsch’s team lost 3-1 (1-1) to third-division club SC Verl. Iwan Ordez (4′) gave VfL the lead, Maximilian Wolfram (39′), Robin Friedrich (82′) and Barne Pernot (89′) turned the game around for the hosts.

The Bochum team continues on Friday with the test at second division side Fortuna Düsseldorf, two days later VfL travel to the training camp in South Tyrol (23rd to 30th). The Bundesliga team will start the competitive game on August 12 in the first round of the DFB Cup at second division Arminia Bielefeld (6:00 p.m. / Sky).
