Cyclo-cross rider Brand the best for the twentieth time

On the penultimate day of the cyclocross season, Lucinda Brand has once again won. The Baloise-Trek Lions rider was the best in the Waaslandcross in Sint-Niklaas. It was her twentieth win of the season.

Brand (32) was alone in front from halfway through the cross. Annemarie Worst finished in second place. Denise Betsema once again provided a completely Dutch podium. The Closing Prize in Oostmalle will follow on Sunday. Brand started the season as world champion, but had to relinquish the rainbow jersey to Marianne Vos at the end of last month. After winning the world title, he no longer drove a cross and focuses on the road season.
