Advance sales for the Germany dates of Taylor Swift’s “The Eras” tour have started.
Taylor Swift’s live performances in the coming year are among the big concert highlights, that’s for sure. The singer gives a total of seven concerts in three cities.
The exclusive Eventim advance sale started on Wednesday (June 12), which is only possible with a special registration in the last few days. While a kind of digital waiting room, until one can even advance further to a kind of selection process, caused frustration among many fans after just a few minutes, the ticket prices now also leaked out.
For Gelsenkirchen, for example, the most expensive standing room costs 240.15 euros. However, seat tickets are also available from 113.65 euros. VIP tickets are significantly more expensive. The prices here range from a little under 400 euros to 641.50 euros. For the highest rate, it goes earlier into the arena and directly in front of the stage.
In the run-up, there were already fears that Taylor Swift could charge horror prices for her tour performances in Hamburg, Munich and Gelsenkirchen. Server problems when accessing the maps, as was the case in the USA and recently in France (when up to 700,000 people were waiting in line), are among the horror scenarios of many Swifties.
The promoter developed a sales process that is unique in Germany especially for the Taylor Swift concerts. Although no figures were released on the number of registrations, eBay offers for pre-sale redemption codes (sometimes up to 100 euros!) indicate that demand exceeded supply. Important: A presale code is no guarantee of getting tickets.
Update: Advance sales for Gelsenkirchen started at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. The one for Hamburg starts at 11 a.m. and the one for Munich at 1 p.m.
