The east of France was hit by heavy thunderstorms yesterday. Balls of hail the size of tennis balls fell from it. At such a moment, a seemingly harmless thunderstorm turns into a real nightmare with damage to houses and cars and sometimes even injuries. But how does hail form? How dangerous is it?
