The 37th Tango Market culminated in the crowning of the new tango royalty on Saturday in Seinäjoki.
A man from Harjavalta was chosen as tango king Pasi Flodström.

On the other hand, he got the Tango Queen’s crown Charlotte Island From Lapua.

This year, all ten finalists sang one traditional tango, after which the jury decided the super finalists, i.e. two women and two men. The super finalists each performed one pop song versioned as a tango.
Katja Karisukki, Charlotta Saari, Niilo Rantala and Pasi Flodström made it to the four super finalists.

The singing competition jury was chaired by the Tango King of 2010 Marko Maunuksela. In addition to him, the jury included Marco Bjurström, Katri Ylander, Antti Ketonen and Eija Kantola.
