On Thursday (July 6th) Rammstein took the stage at the Stadspark in Groningen, The Netherlands.

On Thursday evening (July 6th) Rammstein played in Groningen, the Netherlands. Despite previous protests from local residents, the concert was able to take place in the Stadspark – the city’s residents protested against the Rammstein concert in advance and criticized that it did not meet the noise standards set by the city. The city administration has granted a one-time special permit to increase the noise level for the performance: 103 decibels instead of 100.

The piano duo Abélard, who have already performed as a support act for Rammstein in the past, played in the opening act. Numerous photos and videos of concert visitors from the Netherlands are circulating on social media.

In the meantime, the Berlin public prosecutor’s office has started investigations against Till Lindemann for allegations of abuse. Massive protests are expected before the concerts in Berlin; there is also a petition against the performances in the Olympic Stadium.
