Several basement compartments went up in flames around 5 a.m. on Thursday night in Prenzlauer Berg.
48 firefighters from the Berlin fire brigade were able to quickly extinguish the fire in an area of 20 square meters, a spokesman said on Thursday.
According to the information, no one was injured. How the fire in the basement shacks on Wörther Strasse in Prenzlauer Berg started is part of the ongoing investigation.
