A 46-year-old man from Harlingen died on Tuesday evening after a boat fell into water near the Arianehof in Harlingen.
The man was pulled from the water in critical condition. Assistance was of no avail. The man died on the spot.
Two men who were also on the boat have been arrested. By questioning them, the police hope to find out more. Further announcements are expected on Wednesday.
