Two transfers in the 3rd division
FC Erzgebirge Aue have signed attacker Steffen Meuer from Borussia Mönchengladbach’s youth team. The 23-year-old, who contributed ten goals and six assists in 30 regional league games for the Fohlen reserve last season, signed a one-year contract with the Violets.
“Steffen has always proven his goal threat in recent years and we trust him to prove this in the 3rd division as well. With his determination and his very good shot, he will enrich our game on the offensive,” said sporting director Matthias Heidrich.
Jahn Regensburg signed Eisenhuth from Energie Cottbus
Meanwhile, second division relegated SSV Jahn Regensburg presented the twelfth newcomer. Tobias Eisenhuth comes from FC Energie Cottbus. The 21-year-old defensive midfielder, who was directly involved in five goals in 41 games last year, has been given a contract until June 30, 2025.
“Tobias is a versatile and promising player, who played an important role at Energie Cottbus at a young age. Together with him, we hope to further exploit this potential and gradually develop it further,” said commercial director Philipp Hausner.
