One year before the end of the contract
Kristoffer Peterson and Fortuna Düsseldorf go their separate ways after three years. The left winger, who was originally tied until 2024, is moving to the Israeli runner-up and Conference League participant Hapoel Beer Sheva. In the past season, the 28-year-old Swede contributed six goals and two assists in 31 games, but was unable to establish himself as a regular.
“We had a very open and honest conversation with Kristoffer after the season, in which both sides reviewed the past season. We came to the conclusion that a change of air could make sense if there was an interesting offer. This case has now occurred and we have found a very satisfactory solution for all parties. From the bottom of our hearts we wish Kristoffer the best for the future,” said sporting director Christian Weber.
Kristoffer Peterson is leaving Fortuna and will join the Israeli club from the coming season @HBS_FC connect.
