A man was attacked by one or more people tonight in a building on the Ketellapperstraat in Assen. The man was injured in this. He was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
It is not yet clear how the man was injured. Initially there was a report of a stabbing, but this turned out not to be the case. The motive is not yet known, and the police are investigating.
When officers arrived at the property, the perpetrator or perpetrators had already fled. No one has been arrested yet.
