There is political partiesor sectors of political parties, who tend to present themselves as legitimate owners of some voters or some institutions. If Badalona voters opt for the PP, a certain left considers that it is a consequence of the demagogy of Xavier García Albiol or the use you make of certain digital media. And, surely, a part of its overwhelming majority comes from those practices. But there is never the slightest self-criticism about their own responsibility for the disappointment of those they consider their natural constituents. When someone who has a propensity to vote for a party does not, he means that the error is monumental. In politics it is very common to see the speck in another’s eye and not the beam in your own. Some see ‘fachatoubers’ and others see the clan of the eyebrow. But the phenomenon is the same, people who use their social influence politically.
The height of this trend is when a party fails to win the mayoralty or the presidency by being the most voted for. Jaume Collboni has “snatched & rdquor; the mayor’s office to Trias but luc salellas has managed to bend Silvia Paneque with a city project. Curious that the same legality stands for two allegedly conflicting legitimacies. Ideologically, it is as unnatural for the CUP to invite a Junts president as it is for the PP to support a mayor with the Comuns. Because the vector is certainly not ideological, nor was the support of maragall to Trias. We can consider that patriotic fronts are malpractice, but then they must be in all circumstances. Almost no one here remembers that Salvador Illa was the list with the most votes in Parliament or that Artur Mas tried to be sworn in as president being number 4 on the Junts pel Sí list and that he ended up retiring at the request of the CUP. Inconsistency is part of the human condition. Nothing to object. But for that same reason it would be advisable that no one give lessons from a certain moral superiority.
