Janni Hussi and Joel Harkimo got married on June 10 in Helsinki Cathedral. Hussi has said that the wedding was intimate, an occasion of less than 100 guests.
The couple has shared several publications related to their wedding on different social media channels on and after the wedding day.
Joel Harkimo also remembers his wedding day in the form of family photos. In the new Instagram publication, the entire Harkimoi family poses in a sweet group photo. In the picture are Joel’s parents Hjallis and Leena Harkimo, and brothers Dan and Leo.
As a caption, the new husband has written “family” with a red heart emoji.
On Monday, June 19, Harkimo announced on his Tiktok account that the couple had gone on a honeymoon. The Tiktok video showed excerpts from the newly married couple’s journey from its first steps.
Hussi and Harkimo are spending their honeymoon in Italy. Based on the couple’s active social media updates, the trip has included enjoying drinks, beautiful scenery, sports and good food.
Details about the wedding
Janni Hussi told the details of his wedding in the episode of his and Sointu Borg’s Sana on vara podcast. Hussi revealed that she and her husband Joel Harkimo organized a childless wedding with less than 100 people.
– We had to limit it when we wanted to keep the wedding really intimate, Hussi stated in the episode.
Hussi described that they wanted to organize a “proper party” with Harkimo, where adults can enjoy alcohol and parties. That’s why they didn’t want underage guests.
– In my opinion, it’s not their place to see adults pull their asses on their shoulders, Hussi specified.
Borg and Huss think it is special that there is often a complaint if Avec or the children have not been invited to the wedding.
– The wedding party should be a party that looks like a wedding couple.
