FC Bayern is planning the next transfer summit

What reinforcements will FC Bayern land for the coming season? Fans and observers of the German record champions ask themselves this exciting question. On Wednesday, there could be new impetus in personnel planning on Säbener Straße.

As “Bild” reports, the transfer council of FC Bayern will meet again. After the departure of CEO Oliver Kahn and sports director Hasan Salihamidzic, the Munich team set up the so-called “Sports Committee” to handle the transfer summer.

There are enough topics to be discussed on Säbener Straße. FC Bayern is looking for a new center forward and a defensive midfielder. In addition, the threatened departures of Lucas Hernández and Benjamin Pavard in central defense have to be compensated.

Bayern bring in Laimer and Guerreiro

With Konrad Laimer and Raphaël Guerreiro, the club has already acquired two free transfer players. In the following weeks, FC Bayern could dig deep into their pockets.

“The mood is very good. We have already signed two players in Konrad Laimer and Raphaël Guerreiro – two very good players. Also players that we can use in both positions. They come on a free transfer. That means we saved money, to be able to do something later,” said club president Herbert Hainer to “Bild”.

FC Bayern wants to “play at the top again”

The “Sports Committee”, which includes Honorary President Uli Hoeneß and Supervisory Board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, is working “very intensively on the squad for the coming season,” says Hainer.

“There’s absolutely no question that our aim is to be at the top again nationally and internationally next season. We still have to work for that,” the 68-year-old continued.
