A farewell message was received from Fenerbahçe, one of the Super League giants, to Jorge Jesus, who announced that he would leave the team.

We have left behind a very long and busy season. The league had to be interrupted twice due to the World Cup and the great earthquake disaster we experienced as a country.
In the 2022-23 Super League Season dominated by all these dynamics, our Football Team achieved an average of 2.21 points in total, achieving 35 wins, 10 draws and 7 losses in 52 matches.
Fenerbahçe was eliminated in the last 16 round by Sevilla, which finished the season with the European Championship in the UEFA Europa League.
Our Team, marching to the last step in both lanes, brought the Ziraat Turkey Cup to our museum.
As of today, the contract of Jorge Jesus, who was the coach of our team in the 2022-23 Football Season, has expired and we have parted ways with him.
We thank Mr. Jorge Jesus for all his hard work so far and wish him success for the rest of his career.
