Defending champion Berrettini strikes the sails in Stuttgart

With defending champion Matteo Berrettini eliminated in the first round, the lawn tennis tournament in Stuttgart lost an attraction early on. The 2021 Wimbledon finalist lost surprisingly smoothly 1: 6, 2: 6 against his Italian compatriot Lorenzo Sonego.
