Club Roeselare wants more control after recent burglaries and vandalism
There have been a few burglaries and attempts in recent months. Not much was stolen, but the damage was extensive, including a door with burglary-resistant glass that was broken. Some football clubs in the area are experiencing the same thing. At Club Roeselare they are fed up.
Gino Vanhaelewyn of Club Roeselare confirms: “We certainly want measures. We want security cameras to be installed on the OLV-Vrouwemarkt, that they can start there already. We also hope that they can expand to the football field, where cameras are certainly needed. We can also ask the police to come by more, in the evening and at night.”
