As expected, Argentinian soccer world champion Angel Di Maria will leave Italian record champions Juventus Turin.
“I have come to the end of a difficult and complicated stage. I am going with the calm of a person who has given everything to help his club win, but it was not possible,” Di Maria wrote on Instagram on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old was disappointed that Juventus did not achieve their goals last season. His expiring contract was not extended, where he is going remained open.
Di Maria had signed a one-year contract in Turin in 2022. Previously he was active for Paris St. Germain for seven years, his contract with the French champions had not been extended.
