The police arrested a 34-year-old man from Zwartemeer yesterday afternoon after several weapons and drugs were found in his home on De Blokken in Zwartemeer. The officers tracked down the man after a report of a threat.
When the police arrived at the house, the man refused to cooperate, forcing the police to break down the door of the house.
After the officers entered, they found several weapons, ammunition, hemp plants and bags with, presumably, dried hemp. A large amount of cash was also found.
The man was then taken to the office. He is suspected of money laundering, illegal possession of weapons and possession of narcotics. The man is currently in custody. The police are still busy with the investigation.
