Tropical temperatures are approaching. We are already starting this week with beautiful, sun-drenched days and it will only get warmer.
This Monday has also started well. “It is sunny in the province”, Johnny Willemsen of Weerplaza told Monday morning in the radio program ‘WAKKER!’ at Omroep Brabant. “There are some cloud fields above the north of the Netherlands, but they don’t come here. It remains sunny. Maybe a single, friendly cumulus cloud will form here and there in the afternoon. But that’s about it. It will be 23 or 24 degrees in a moderate wind from the northeast.”
“Friday and next weekend we are heading towards 30 degrees.”
We can also look forward to lots of sunshine in the coming days. “Some clouds now and then and a temperature of 23 degrees.”
In the second half of the week, about from Thursday, the wind will turn a bit more to the northeast to east. “Then the temperature will rise”, Johnny knows. “Friday and next weekend we are heading towards 30 degrees. In Eindhoven we seem to be reaching 29 degrees.”
“You only have sticky nights at 20 degrees.”
According to Johnny, we don’t have to worry about sticky nights for the time being. “In the past period, the temperature at night has stuck at 9 or 10 degrees. This week we will reach about 15 degrees at night. That is a lot warmer, but you only really have sticky nights at 20 degrees. Well, it won’t be that bad this week, but it will be real summer weather.”
