Guaranteed to complete the season as champions in Spor Toto Super League, Galatasaray started the preparations for the derby match in the 37th week, where it will host Fenerbahçe on Sunday, 4 June.
Galatasaray Club President Dursun Özbek and members of the board of directors followed the training, which was open to the press and fans at Florya Metin Oktay Facilities.
Before the training, 1905 Galatasaray Managers and Businessmen Association awarded coach Okan Buruk, team captains Fernando Muslera, Kerem Aktürkoğlu and Bafetimbi Gomis, and Argentine star football player Mauro Icardi.
The players, who did warm-up movements, passing and catching the ball in the training, then played a double goal match in the narrow field.
The football players, to whom the yellow-red fans showed love with marches and cheers, went to the stands and celebrated the championship with them.
Galatasaray will complete the preparations for the derby match with the training that will be held tomorrow.
