AS Roma coach José Mourinho is in trouble with the European Football Association.
Referee Anthony Taylor (left) and José Mourinho clashed in the evening in Budapest. PDO
Jose Mourinho sure knew what he was doing.
He did not take AS Roma’s defeat in the Europa League penalty shootout very well, but waited for an hour in the umens of the Budapest stadium for the referee Anthony Taylor.
When the Englishman appeared, Mourinho set him up in a way that, based on his own experience, will surely result in a caretaker ban.
This time, however, The Special One seems to have gone a little too far. Roma fans took Mourinho’s conspiracy theories seriously and harassed the British referee and his family as they were leaving Hungary.
A video from the Budapest airport shows Taylor’s daughter crying and some liquid being thrown on the referee’s wife.
It is clear that Mourinho’s attack the night before had served as a kind of example of inferior activity.
Now the European football association Uefa has opened a disciplinary process against Mourinho.

At least the insults used by the Portuguese about Taylor both in the basement of the stadium and in the press conference after the match are to blame.
In addition, Roma as a club has to answer for the fans’ fireworks, the vandalism directed at the stadium and the riots in the stands.
