Those who live in the north know no better than that it is warmer in the south of the Netherlands. But on Friday morning the roles are reversed, weather amateur Jannes Wiersema from Roodeschool tweets.
In Groningen and parts of Drenthe it is a great day with a pleasant 17 degrees, while the thermometer in South Limburg does not get much further than 12 degrees. However, the difference seems short-lived.
According to Weeronline, Saturday will be sunny throughout the country with a temperature between 20 and 24 degrees. The sun will also shine on Sunday, but there will probably be more clouds in the north. That will make it feel fresher. However, it remains dry.
