National athletes Ayşenur Duman and Özlem Ceren Dursun, who represented Turkey at the 2022 Winter Olympics held in Beijing, the capital of China, could not complete the semi-final race in the women’s ski running team sprint classic.
National athletes, who passed the first 3 legs of the race held at Cangciakou National Ski Center, left the race halfway.
Ayşenur Duman, 22, represented Turkey at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics held in South Korea. 18-year-old Özlem Ceren Dursun competed in the Olympics for the first time.
With this result, the competitions of Turkish athletes in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games were completed.
