16 AZ fans report to the police after riots in the stadium

24 photos would be shown in the broadcast of Discovery Requested. “These are already fewer,” explains Erwin Sintenie of the police. Sixteen people have now reported to the police station.

That does not mean that this number will eventually all be classified as suspects. “For example, they say they have climbed over a fence, but have not hit anyone. We will find out. They will be heard by the detectives.”

Police have not released any information about their identities at this time. According to the police, a number of other people have already been recognized on the videos and images from the stadium.

Investigation Requested – tonight at 9.10 pm on NPO 2 – is a program that is sometimes used tactically by the police to search for criminals. It is not known how many photos of the alleged rioters will be shown tonight and how clear they are. People have until 4 p.m. today to report, police said.

AZ has now announced plans to expand standing places in the stadium – fanatical supporters like to stand here because of the atmosphere – at the moment to put on hold.

After an inventory among fans of the Alkmaar club, hundreds of so-called safe standingplaces to come. Supporters previously told NH that last season was increasingly too busy in those places, resulting in disagreement was within the fanatical fans of AZ.
