Käärijä, whose real name is Jere Pöyhönen, who represented Finland in Eurovision, is quite a fascinating case.
Last Thursday, we were told that Käärijä made history when Cha Cha Cha became the most streamed Finnish song of all time on the Spotify music service.
The next day we were able to report that Cha Cha Cha was at the top of the viral charts in the United States, Great Britain, Sweden, France and Germany, among others.
Right after the songs, Käärijä was number one on Spotify’s global viral list.
Now the conquering Scroller is also conquering Asia. Cha Cha Cha is number two on Japan’s viral chart.
