I followed both games and I have to say that I particularly like one trait of this DFB team, namely a patience that I only knew from our U21s under Kuntz. Technically, the Portuguese and French were better and today France was the overall better team in the 1st Hz, but neither the technically gifted Portuguese nor the deserved half-time lead of the French impressed them. Great how Brunner, Ramsak, Darvich messed up the whole game within 8 minutes.
If the coaching staff and the team can maintain this level, other nations will have a hard time surviving against our U17s, we have to say that very clearly
