Debuted on matchday 29
Eintracht Frankfurt has equipped talent Dario Gebuhr with a professional contract. As the Bundesliga club announced on Friday, the 20-year-old defender from the second team signed until 2025 with an option for a further extension. Gebuhr has been with the club since 2017 and has made 26 appearances (one goal/four assists) in the Hessenliga and seven more in the Youth League this season. He also made his professional debut on Matchday 29 away at Borussia Dortmund (0:4) when he came on as a substitute in the closing stages.
“Dario has made an impressive development in the current season. With good performances in our U21 team, but also in the UEFA Youth League, he was able to attract attention and recommend himself for higher tasks. He is a player who wants to constantly improve, works hard and embodies good character and a professional attitude. (…) The professional contract is now the next logical step. Together we want to promote positive development responsibly and continuously. Dario is a good example that the way up is open for young talents at Eintracht Frankfurt,” said sporting director Timmo Hardung.
