★★★ Beautifully designed and well-animated, this story of a girl in the early 20th century who decides to become the first female firefighter in history is straightforward. I mean, she’s not trying to do anything more than tell her story in the most effective and engaging way possible. She succeeds and that makes the film more interesting when it comes to becoming a fable with a moral. Laterally, it talks about genres, without explicitly lowering the line.
