Lisa Harms has with the number Until the sun pours won the eleventh edition of the Drèents Liedtiesfestival. That was announced tonight in the Atlas Theater in Emmen.
Harms succeeds Rick Hilberts, who last year with Falling stars was awarded. In addition to the title, Harms will receive a cash prize of 2000 euros for her song tonight, Till the sun pours out, to record and release.
With this success, Harms’ road is open to more performances, both nationally and internationally. She qualifies for the Region Song Contest, where each regional broadcaster sends its own artist for the final. Harms therefore travels for RTV Drenthe.
In addition, she will represent Low Saxon at the European Song Contest for Minority Languages in Udine, Italy.
In total there were ten contenders tonight: Emile, Noordwaarts, Bertine Snippe, Dréents Grøs, Werilt (Gijs-Peter Kuipers), Lisa Harms, Marianne Veenstra, Madelon Heijnen, Sister Siter and Marjolein Schepers.
