Claudio Bisio is a rock commissioner

Living is not child’s play is a teen and family drama which crosses the stories of a group of teenagers and their respective parents. How to behave and react in the face of a dramatic event such as the death of a boy caused by a pill that was sold by your child? The weight of a high school student’s bad choices can compromise the balance of an entire family, and beyond.

The series is about a problem today, such as the drugs used by adolescents, and above all of the relationship between parents and children, between friends, between teachers and pupils. Daily life enters the homes of Italians. The tone is not only that of the drama, the figure of the policeman played by Claudio Bisio in fact it lightens the mood.

«Saguatti is a rock commissioner which deserves a spin-off – he says Roland Ravello – is a man who has his wounds and a great humanity. With Lele it will establish a close relationship and will push him to bring out hidden truths ». And we also talk about Love: between parents and children, and teenagers. The report of Lele and Serenawho doesn’t want to fall in love, will hold court in the series.

The themes of Living is not child’s play: drugs, parenthood, escape from oneself

The series was written by Fabio Bonifaci, which was inspired by a news story from a few years ago. In Living is not child’s play moving from one important topic to another, from the use of drugs for entertainment purposes to the question of questions: can you escape from yourself? Drugs are just a pretext to talk about something else.

«From a triggering event i characters find themselves faced with an avalanche involving the school, parents, Lele’s friends and neighborhood criminals – explains Fabio Bonifaci. The play of these forces, combined with the biting wind of adolescence, brings down the masks of the protagonistsmany of whom run away from themselves and their emotions», like Serena.

A choral unease unites young people and adults. Another topic that is addressed is that of parenting. «The old model of parental authority has expired – the screenwriter is convinced – we need a parental authority that follows new guidelines. But which ones? It’s interesting how in the series the parents of the kids respond differently depending on their character».
