The difference between working and not working must always be at least 500 euros. That is what Open VLD says, which sets out its outlines for the future at its member conference in Ghent a year before the elections. “The liberal model should not be a model of hammocks, but rather one of trampolines for people who want and can jump,” said Jasper Pillen, who co-chairs the conference with Stephanie D’Hose.
