A camper fell off a trailer on the A4 near Bergen op Zoom at the end of the morning on Saturday. The camper ended up on its side. “We have our hands full dealing with the accident,” Rijkswaterstaat said.
Due to the accident, two lanes have been closed between Wouwse Plantage and the Zoomland junction. It takes road users 45 minutes longer over a distance of five kilometres. People should also expect delays from the A58.
Rijkswaterstaat is busy removing the camper. The damage to the asphalt must also be repaired. The lanes will therefore remain closed for the time being.
No one was injured in the accident. The fire brigade was called, but did not have to take action.
Another accident
An accident also happened on the A2 between Maastricht and Eindhoven at the Leenderheide junction. As a result, only one lane was open for half an hour.
