On the A2 near Best there is a traffic jam of an hour after an accident happened at that location. Police say several vehicles were involved, but it is still unclear what exactly happened. From Boxtel-Noord it is about nine kilometers to connect in a traffic jam.
Rijkswaterstaat has closed the two right lanes due to the accident, causing traffic on the A2 from Den Bosch to Eindhoven to come to a standstill. The advice is to take a detour from the Vught junction via the A65 and the A58.
According to the police, there are many witnesses to the accident, but much is still unclear. “The only thing I know is that several vehicles are involved. We now want to get a picture of what happened there.” An investigation is being carried out on site.
The ANWB initially estimated that the delay would be half an hour, but according to Rijkswaterstaat it is still unclear how long it will take.
