Sti title “Kurios – cabinet of curiosities” the new Cirque du Soleil show that debuts on May 10 in Milan in Piazzale Cuoco. The show will be in Italy, exclusively for the first time ever in Europe. His yellow and blue Grand Chapiteau was hoisted in the last few days. With its four main masts it reaches over 25 metres.
The numbers of the most famous show in the world are impressive: it boasts a cast of 49 artists, some of whom have been touring with the company for over 15 years. More than 8,000 costumes and 426 props were created for this production, the 35th since 1984.

“Kurios -cabinet of curiosities” confuses the senses and perceptions, to the point of wondering: “Is it all true or is it just a figment of my imagination?”. The show focuses beyond the doors of an ambitious inventor’s ‘cabinet’ of curiosities as he defies the laws of time and space to reinvent the world around him.
Unique and extravagant characters alternate on the stage who guide the character in a wonderful place, where everything ignites the imagination and everything becomes reality. Kurios is a parallel universe of poetry and humor where the visible becomes invisible and perspectives transform. Naturally, there is no shortage of acrobatic feats.

The famous Canadian company is located in an extraordinary village with an area of 48,000 square meters. It was founded in Montreal in 1984. Over the course of 36 years it has conceived, produced, distributed and performed shows for around 180 million live spectators, in 450 cities in 90 countries on five continents.
