Devold of Norway starts its own online shop for Germany.
In addition to the online shop, the website will also provide information about the value chain, announced the Norwegian outerwear brand on Monday. Devold has its own manufacturing facilities in Europe, making all of the brand’s woolen clothing.
The German-language online shop is also intended to involve the specialist dealers in Germany and Austria with whom Devold works. For this purpose, the option “Buy locally” is offered for the respective product, where customers can find stores nearby.
“We welcome the introduction of the German-language online presence with a shop function, which we want to operate primarily as a brand showcase and less as a sales driver,” said Herbert Horelt, Managing Director of Devold Deutschland GmbH. “The involvement of our specialist retail partners via Outtra was an essential tool for me, because our partnership with retailers, which we have built up and expanded over the years, and a product range and sales policy geared towards this, will continue to play the central role for us.”
The Norwegian outerwear brand has been represented in Germany by Devold of Norway GmbH since 2017. Based in Buchenberg, Bavaria, the company manages European business for the markets of Germany, Austria, Benelux, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania and Hungary.
