A fire broke out in a business premises in Emmikhovenstraat in Amsterdam-Osdorp on Sunday evening, releasing a lot of smoke.
The fire service received the first report around 9:15 p.m. “It was a fire in a business building, but it was extinguished around 9:30 pm,” a spokesman for the fire brigade told NH.
No warning
Although according to the spokesperson it was not a major fire, there is “considerable smoke and soot damage”. This also applies to the two adjacent buildings. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Firefighters are currently ventilating the building. Despite the considerable smoke development, no warning was issued to local residents.
