Black Bottle Riot goes wild in and on Het Podium

Black Bottle Riot is coming to Het Podium on Saturday 13 May. The guitar band has been conquering the hearts of the public and press for fifteen years with their solid rock. They come to Hoogeveen with their fifth studio album in their pocket: That’s Amore. Tickets are available via hetpodium.nl.

That’s Amore is a record on which the band managed to capture the live feeling perfectly, because the men imposed restrictions on themselves: no overdubs, nothing straightening. The result is a mature album with a positive slant full of good time rock ‘n’ roll. Black Bottle Riot was inspired for That’s Amore by the tex-mex rock of Los Lobos, the garage rock of the Hellacopters and everything in between. On their fifth studio album, Black Bottle Riot shows that they always renew themselves, without forgetting their roots: blues, soul and rock ‘n’ roll.

festivals

Black Bottle Riot earned its spurs at home and abroad, on huge stages and festivals such as Rockin’ Park, Zwarte Cross, Eurosonic Noorderslag and Down The Rabbit Hole. They have already shared the bill with bands such as Pearl Jam, The Black Keys, The War On Drugs, Black Stone Cherry, Rival Sons and Ryan Adams. They also opened for ZZ Top. Lovers of rough blues rock from The Allman Brothers Band, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and Thin Lizzy can get ready for a wonderful evening at Het Podium.
