People went out of their way after catching a glimpse of King Charles along The Mall in London.
On Saturday, May 6, the crowned king Charles accompanied by a spectacular procession went from Buckingham Palace all the way to Westminster Abbey.
Thousands of people had packed the main streets of London hoping to catch even a glimpse of Charles. The people who gathered on The Mall street even spent part of their night on the street, securing good seats.
On Saturday around 12:20 Finnish time, the people on the street got their fulfillment: Charles and Camilla were transported by in showy carriages.
