Queen Camilla: the true protagonist of the coronation

dto date is Her Majesty, Queen Camilla. Buckingham Palace communicated it before the coronation of Charles III. And Camilla, 75 years old, two children, the family wrecker, the “rotterweiler”, as Princess Diana called her, Parker Bowles in her first marriage, today saw her personal triumph after an incredible parable, which smacks a lot of “revenge”, revenge, other than the famous dress of Lady D.

When she was crowned, unlike the staid Charles, the queen did not hide her satisfaction with a smile and a sneer. Yes, she did it. Although only interested in the love of her “prince” and then “king”, her life has been beyond imagination.

The Tampax scandal

In the 90s she had been at the center of the “tampax” scandal, intercepted by the secret services during clandestine phone calls with the then Prince Charles, now the subjects of the United Kingdom must bow to her passage.

Perhaps not even Elizabeth II could have hypothesized so much.

Is it the triumph of love or the triumph of a woman’s determination?

One thing is certain: Camilla is all of us now. We can all dream now of becoming queens.

So “human” that she even allowed herself the habit, even a little frivolous if you will, to arrange your hair under the crown. Image first. Especially if the ruler of an empire.

Queen Camilla’s bow to Charles III

After the coronation, Queen Camilla bowed before the king, Charles III. Perhaps the only one ever done to her husband who was married eighteen years agoin April 2005, after the green light from the then Queen Elizabeth.

The new queen appeared very bright and hieratic in her white designed dress by Bruce Oldfield, British designer already one of Lady Diana’s favourites.

The dress was embellished with gold embroidery. The silhouette resembled in cut and colors the dress worn by Elizabeth II 70 years ago on her coronation day.

Queen Camilla appeared awkward with her very heavy cloak, the Robe of Estate, made especially for her in purple velvet embroidered with gold threads.

The coronation of King Charles: the crown, the sceptres and the great emotion of the sovereign

“I am honored to have been invited to design such a historic gown for Her Majesty. This is truly the most important commission of my life. Very exciting and very special” pointed out Bruce Oldfield a wwd.

Camilla was able to wear the same necklace exhibited by Elizabeth II on the day of her coronation.
