The German beach volleyball duo Nils Ehlers/Clemens Wickler was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Pro Tour’s Elite16 tournament in Uberlandia, Brazil.
The German champions from Hamburg, who finished third in Mexico at the end of March, lost 2-1 (23:21, 19:21, 10:15) to the Dutch duo Steven van de Velde/Matthew Immers after a good start.
In the women’s tournament, Karla Borger (Düsseldorf) and Sandra Ittlinger (Hamburg) missed the knockout stage.
