Demos, loud music and stress not your thing? Three tips for a relaxing weekend.
Dance into May and Tulipan in the Britzer Garden starts.
At the “Tanz in den Mai” (Tanz in den Mai) on the fairground stage by the lake, everything revolves around swing from 6 p.m. If you like, you can join a course from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Berlin’s largest tulip show blooms along the Kastanienallee to the Kalenderplatz on 2200 square meters with around 180 different types of tulips. A new audio walk and two art installations by the artist Felicitas Butt will make your walk in the fresh air even more beautiful.
For small park visitors there is the tulip fairy tale of the “Dreaming Onion”. Both audio walks can be loaded onto your cell phone using a QR code.
Entrance to Massiner Weg. Adults 3 euros, reduced 1.50 euros, children up to 5 years have free admission. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, 7 p.m. on weekends. www.britzergarten.de

From Saturday, art meets wine again at the village pond. Winegrowers from all over Germany, from the Moselle to Saxony, are guests and offer their carefully produced wines. There is no stage, instead the live music plays in the street.
The focus is on the walk acts the Huub Dutch Duo, the Ganzenfanfa and Steve Horn. Around 40 potters, fashion and jewelery designers are represented on the art mile.
Saturday and Sunday: 12pm to 11pm, Monday 12pm to 8pm. Admission free. www.family-and-friends-eV.de

The park celebrates the night of May 1st with a big family festival. Little (and big!) witches and ghosts start the evening as early as 4 p.m., jugglers make fun and storytellers invite you to listen.
There will be a parade at 5 p.m. In the evening there is live music: the Irish folk band “Clover” performs and of course there is a Walpurgis Night fire. A fire show begins at 9 p.m.
Sunday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Ruedersdorf Museum Park. Admission 7 euros, children 3 euros.
