A pleasant surprise in the superhero universe (or should that metaverse be called now?) was 2014’s Guardians of the galaxy, in which a boy is kidnapped and raised by aliens, and grows into the self-righteous adventurer Peter Quill. Who gathers around him a wonderful company of creatures, like a talking raccoon and some kind of tree.
