Frenzel is allowed to leave the quarantine hotel – Olympia

Good news for Eric Frenzel: The Olympic champion, who tested positive for the corona virus upon entry, is allowed to leave the quarantine hotel in Beijing. The German Ski Association confirmed this to the sports show on Monday (02/14/2022).

For teammate Terence Weber, however, the Olympic Games are over. The 25-year-old will be replaced by Manuel Faißt in official training on Monday. Weber loses his accreditation and can neither play individually on Tuesday (9 a.m. in the sports show live stream) nor in the relay on Thursday.

Eric Frenzel still hopes to start in Beijing

For Eric Frenzel, who, like Weber, has been in quarantine isolation since the start of the games, there is still a small hope of starting in Beijing. However, a deployment on Tuesday should be ruled out.
