Tonight, the resident of an apartment complex in Nieuw-Vennep fell victim to a chat trick. The police are investigating in the area and are looking for the three scammers.
On Sunday evening, several police cars went to the De Componist apartment complex. According to the police, a resident has become a victim of a chat trick. The district is looking for three men around 40 years old. No arrests have yet been made.
The exact damage is not yet known by the police.

Tonight’s chat trick is not an isolated one. Earlier today, the association for the elderly ANBO made a broader appeal to NH to be vigilant. Especially now that the past few weeks have been rife with chat tricks. “People suddenly stand in front of your door to check the smoke detector, for example,” says Jurriën Beerda of ANBO.
“When someone rings the doorbell, you quickly tend to open the door. We always try to warn the elderly about these kinds of developments. For example, always check who is at the door before you open the door.”
