The MotoGP World Championship comes to Europe again. In two weeks, from April 29 to May 1, the fourth Grand Prix of the season in Spanish lands and the expectation is maximum: Will Marc Márquez and Enea Bastianini arrive at the Jerez event? Most likely, yes.

The Jerez circuit is one of the most legendary on the MotoGP calendar. In fact, together with Assen, it is known as the cathedral of motorcycling. Has capacity for 125,000 spectators and was inaugurated more than 37 years ago (December 8, 1985).

The first of the four Spanish tracks that regularly enter the MotoGP calendar has a total of 4,423 meters and 13 curves: 5 of them to the left and the remaining 8, to the right.

The driver with the most victories in Jerez continues to be valentino rossiwith a total of 7. ‘Il Dottore’ shares with Jorge Lorenzo the Top1 of Poles: five for each one, for four of Fabio Quartararo.

And as far as active pilots are concerned, it is ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia who retains the fastest lap record, both in Pole Position (1:36.170) as in race (1:37.669). Last year, the Turin driver took the cat into the water ahead of Fabio Quartararo and Aleix Espargaro.

In the other categories, they were Ai Ogurawith Aron Canet and Tony Arbolinothose who took the privileged positions in Moto2, while in Moto3, izan guevara and Sergio Garcia Dols signed the double for GasGas, with Jaume Masia closing the podium positions.
